Hi dear moms.I catch cold(.My baby 7 month old,she got her flu shot but i see a little staffy nose and sometimes cough.Is it ok if u give your baby Tylenol and Baby cough syrup an advance to prevent her catching cold?

Not a good idea to give it to her unless she actually needs it mama. Best to wait and see. They help with symptoms not the actual illness and can keep baby comfortable if truly needed otherwise like anything they build up a resistance to them.
Tylenol treats fevers and pain. It does nothing for a runny nose. I would call your pedi and ask what they suggest but I wouldn’t start medicating for this. She’s still way too little. You can use saline drops and a cool mist humidifier for the runny nose and congestion.

That’s not gonna prevent it. Those only treat symptoms if she already has a cold.

Saline and suction followed by humidifier as PP mentioned is best for stuffy or runny nose.
