My son has a diaper rash that looks like sores on his butt.. and around the penis area is red.. is this normal? He’s never had diaper rash until now ..I’m really confused

We use A&D for more everyday and Boudreaux’s butt paste for real bad stuff. Teeth can cause diaper rash.
I also hate Desitin. I’ve always been able to clear up any sign of a rash with a&d and Boudreaux’s butt paste
@scx, THANK YOU! I was wondering if I could use A & D ointment on his diaper rash because the diaper cream doesn’t seem to be working I’m going to get a&d tomorrow

I’ve used Desitin on my daughter and it’s honestly the worst (in my opinion) it made everything worse & it never went away. I switched to A&D and it was such a lifesaver! I’d suggest switching from a cream to an ointment instead
Agreed! We found A & D (the yellow tube) to be the most helpful in clearing up rash.
@elvira8701, I’ve been using destine diaper rash it’s been there for about a week and a half now but since he’s been teething he’s been pooping back to back and peeing a bunch 😩 it’s kind of hard keeping up now lol.. his tip of his penis kind of looks like it’s been bleeding but it hasn’t
My son went through the same thing a few weeks ago and it ended being yeast from the moisture trapped inside the diaper. I was using A&D and neosporin for over a week and it didn't help at all so when I took him in they gave me a cream and it cleared up in 3 days but I used it for a week to assure it didn't return
I use balmex when my son gets diaper rashes, it’s a life saver. Desitin honestly doesn’t work, for my son at least, but I use A&D when he was circumcised and he healed up nicely
