When did your doctor do it? How long after did you go into labor? I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon, I’m 39 weeks. I was gonna ask my doctor if he would do it but I just wanted some personal experiences!

I had mine done 3 times between 38-39 weeks .. I am still pregnant lol mine never worked. I wasn't ready I guess 🤷🏻♀️
I got it done a few days before my due date so I was still 39w. Went into labor the next day (day before my due date) and went to the hospital on the due date.. had my son the day after. :) It was.. a very unpleasant experience for me and while I will never know for sure if that started my labor I would do it again. I know some women have to have it done multiple times though. 😬 I was only like 1cm dilated but I really didn’t want to get induced (which she was going to schedule before my 41st week because my son was measuring rather big).
I was 3cm for weeks they finally stripped st 38 & 39 weeks didn’t work with my daughter. We see a lot of patients who it doesn’t work for. Totally depends on the person!
With my son my doctor did it at my 39 week appointment. I went into labor 2 hours later. With my daughter my doctor did it at my 38 week appointment. I went into labor 12 hours later. Apparently it only works if your body is ready. You’re so close to the end! How exciting!
And yes, I’m so ready but so nervous to give birth again!
@tylersmommy11116, I was dilated to 2 cm with my son. With my daughter I was about 3.5 cm.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
did u ladies do the testing for down syndrome and stuff. I didn't do it...jus wondering what y'all did
Did anyone here choose to wait until the placenta stopped pumping blood to your baby before you cut it? I want to do it. How did the doctors handle it?
