I had it done the day before I was 39 weeks. I went into labor about 18 hours later.

I had mine done 3 times between 38-39 weeks .. I am still pregnant lol mine never worked. I wasn't ready I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

I got it done a few days before my due date so I was still 39w. Went into labor the next day (day before my due date) and went to the hospital on the due date.. had my son the day after. :) It was.. a very unpleasant experience for me and while I will never know for sure if that started my labor I would do it again. I know some women have to have it done multiple times though. 😬 I was only like 1cm dilated but I really didn’t want to get induced (which she was going to schedule before my 41st week because my son was measuring rather big).

I was 3cm for weeks they finally stripped st 38 & 39 weeks didn’t work with my daughter. We see a lot of patients who it doesn’t work for. Totally depends on the person!

With my son my doctor did it at my 39 week appointment. I went into labor 2 hours later. With my daughter my doctor did it at my 38 week appointment. I went into labor 12 hours later. Apparently it only works if your body is ready. You’re so close to the end! How exciting!
