My SO trully believes in the book about the 3, bears and papa bear eats first then baby then mama lmao I think ots dumb but w/e I do always give my son amd his plate at the same time unless babies food in cooling off still . I always eat last (y the book says mama bears porage is cold 😑

Every family is different but personally if the food is or when it's done, and S.O is home alongside kids I dont see why everyone doesnt eat at the same time at the dinner table💁‍♀️ but to each their own!😊

My kids get their food 1st.. I give it youngest to oldest, then my husband. We all eat at the same time though.

Kids plates are made first and mine second. Husband waits to make sure everyone else has food so he knows how much he can take. We all eat at the same time though.

We fix the kid’s plates together and then fix our own. He would hate for me to fix his plate. He’s picky as hell about how he likes stuff done.

We eat at the same time but while my daughters food is usually cooking off I give my SO his food.

Babies and kids plates are fixed, they are seated, and prayers are said. Then adults fix their plates. No man, even their father will eat before my children. I would have an issue if he thought he had earned some kind of right to eat first. There might be the occasional istance where he eats first but it is situational. Not because he is the big bad man of the house and that's his right. They are children. They didn't ask to be here. We brought them here. It is our jobs to provide for them. To put them before ourselves. 🤷‍♀️ but thats my house, and my opinion.

Everyone eats at the same time. My daughter’s plate is dished up first and put to the side to cool.

Well typically I give my SO his plate first because my kids food is normally in the fridge cooling off. But I don’t think it really matters. The whole minute my kid would have to wait for me to set my SOs plate in front of him isnt gonna affect him.

My hubby is only home an hour for dinner so I always let him get his first. Then I make penny's plate and sit her down then i get mine.

I serve them all at the same time. However I agree a child can learn to wait as a sign of respect. As long as everyone is fed I don’t see an issue. Now a man should never eat if there isn’t enough for the children.

Son is first 🤷‍♀️ if not he screams bloody murder. My husband rather our son eat while were making our own plates and even if he wanted to be first he would be told off 😂

Our son eats first. And then I get my own plate because 9/10 times he’s not hungry when he gets home

We eat at the same time &’ stay seated at the table until all of us is done 😅 I dont know how that started but it is always what we have done.

I always make my kids' plates first. Sometimes I make my husband's for him. Sometimes I don't. But the kids are always already sitting at the table eating before either of us ever sit down. He would never expect to have his food made first.
