Any advice please!?
So Friday night I ended up going into labor at 36 weeks and ended up having my daughter, she was perfectly healthy though and weighed 5lbs 4oz. She is such a good baby. But I had a question for you ladies and was curious if anyone experienced the same thing, well I know it's only been two days but I have been feeling like so drained, no energy at all, like tired wise. I just feel like sleeping, and I keep dozing off.. I mean is this normal or should I mention it to my doctor. Had anyone else experienced this, if so what did you do about it? I just want to be able to make it a full day again with out feeling like all I wanna do is sleep and not be dozing off all the time with no energy to do nothing...

Are you getting any sleep?
The first couple weeks can be super exhausting. But if you're concerned call your doctor

You just gave birth. That’s exhausting and major thing I had my girls at 25 weeks exactly and it literally took me weeks until I felt “normal”

Are you breastfeeding? Give it a little time. You just went through labor. It's tough on a womans body. I still am tired bc my baby was born at 34 weeks and is over a month old and still wakes up 2 hours.

Yes it’s normal, your body is in recovery. Try to get some solid sleep, if you can, and it should help. Have someone watch baby for a bit so you can sleep. Also eat nutritious meals to help your energy.

Congratulations 🎉

I’d mention it. I could be normal new mama tiredness, but I could also be an iron deficiency or something.

Thank you ladies, I'm not breast feeding and when I had her it was at 5:26 in the morning so that whole day I literally did not get any sleep so I guess yall are right I just need a good full rest. But I slept last night till about 6 this morning then fell back asleep about 8am and then woke up about 10am and I'm feeling very tired again I keep dozing off

I just realised you just had her. My bad.
But yes completely normal. I had my youngest around that time. The every 2 hour feedings are exhausting. You'll get the hang of it. Can the dad stop by and let you nap a bit?
Or is there a nursery there?

Dads working two jobs but yeah there is a nursery here which I sent her to the nursery last night at 11pm so I could sleep during the night but any sleep I do get just doesn't feel enough I just keep dozing off and cant help it
