I need a little advice. I'm barely pregnant and my boyfriends family is already telling me they have to be in the room while I push. His grandma told me that it doesn't matter what I want because its her great grandbaby. I was not raised like his family. I was raised to have a choice and not let people dictate how things go. I get that they want to be there but I dont get why I have to completely throw out what I want. I don't want a lot of people in the room watching my in pain while I push. Is that really so wrong?

No it isn’t wrong at all! No one wants the whole world looking at them while they are spread eagle and bringing life into the world. Let them think they’re gonna come in all they want, just tell the nurse on duty who you and do not want there and they will handle the rest. You don’t need stress while giving birth. Stand your ground.

Thank you. I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one who feels like this.

when i had my daughter almost 8 yrs ago. I was in the room all by myself. I wanted my mom but she said she couldnt handle it so she stayed with me until it was time 2 push. I was mad so i made everyone get out. They stayed at tge door and when they heard her cry they came rushing in
