Is $200 alot for clothes?? I just went shopping for myself && my husband is mad as hell that I spent 3 hours shopping.😒😔

Your hubby needs to relax a bit, especially if it’s your Christmas money and you don’t buy much for yourself.

My hubby dreams of the day that I only spend $200 when I go shopping. In my defense, I’ve gone from a size 22/24 to a 6/8 since February of 2017. During that period I’ve had to buy everything over, even shoes because I went down 1/2 to 1 full shoe size too. I have a 33.5 inch inseam and there’s only so many places that cater to that. Plus that’s always extra. If you wear a bigger bra, or beyond a size 10 shoe, that tends to cost extra. $200 on 42g bras only last what maybe 4 if you have a coupon or a sale and you can’t get a matching panty with that sometimes either.

$200 is very reasonable to be able to bargain shop and come out with a decent new stash of clothes. My hubby and I agreed to $200 per quarter while I dropped the weight and I never had a problem getting what I needed with that.

I don’t think that’s a lot for clothes. Clothes are expensive. I’m super cheap and only shop clearance pretty much, but even that can add up pretty quickly.

I guess it's all relative. Was $200 in the budget? Does it take away from another need? Etc...

If it was your xmas money then 🖕🏼 him lol. My husband only gets "mad" when I go out for myself and come back with stuff for the kids, he doesn't mind me buying for myself because I hardly do.

It's based on your financial situation bc $200 to a household that gets 3k/mo isn't the same to a household that gets 8k/mo.

Hell nah! Clothes are so expensive but I will not spend that much on maternity clothes

i only spend on myself every like 6 months if not more months.

i’ll spend like $130-150 on myself when i do.

It is a lot of money esp depending on your financial situation. If it’s only clothes to wear for the next 20 weeks then ya that’s a lot in my opinion

not a lot when spent on two people.
