They recently opened up an Aldi close to me and I want to check it out... I’m usually a Shop Rite kinda gal, but I want to see what Aldi has to offer. Do any mamas shop at Aldi? Yay or nay 👍🏻👎🏻
We love ALDI! It’s literally the only place we shop. Sometimes they don’t have everything you need, so you might have to go somewhere else. But we can get a weeks worth of groceries for $50-$60ish.
@girlymamaa, my husband was skeptical too. But he had to go to giant the other day for something and was amazed at the price difference. I know every ALDI is different though. Like ours has good produce but the one by my moms doesn’t.
@littleonemorning, I’ve very intrigued to see how much cheaper my typical Sunday shopping list will cost me at Aldi, and yeah I can imagine there are some better than others! Let’s hope the one by me is a good one 🤞🏼
@girlymamaa, it’s crazy. I highly recommend comparing receipts when you get home!
We shopped at Aldi when I lived in Illinois. I hate that there’s not one close to where I live. If you buy paper bags from them you can save them and reuse them. Or get some of the reusable grocery bags. That’s what my mom always did.
I love Aldi for everything but their produce. It goes bad pretty quick in my opinion.
Aldi is awrsome and cheap. The only complaint i have is they dont carry country gravy... definwtly get meats somewhere elae though theure pretty pricey with that
I love Aldi! I mostly buy snacks, some fruit, yogurt and I love their cheese selection. The only thing that sucks is that you’ll find something you really like and then they never have it again. They had these pretzels I absolutely loved and I bought them once and they haven’t had them since.
Oh woaaah! That’s disappointing 😥 but thanks for the heads up!
Love Aldi! They're better than shop rite
Wow! Didn’t except to hear this.. better?! I love shop rite, it can get expensive but I guess I’m just used to my local one and knowing where things are! But thanks for Feedback :)
@girlymamaa yeah better in terms of price. Dont get me wrong, I love shop rite too but I'll check aldi first to save some coins ;-)
I love Aldi. I shop their first and then go to shoprite or acme for my meats and a few other things. I usually bring bags with me so I dnt have to pay for theirs everytime I go.
Love aldi! We save so much every month, we some times have to go to Walmart for what they don’t have but again we save a lot!
Could you give me an example of something they wouldn’t have? Like shampoo? I use a specific brand, and I was thinking if they didn’t have it, I figured I run over to Walmart for it!
@girlymamaa, they only have one or two brands but that selection so small so you might just have to go to Walmart for that.
Love love love Aldi! As the ladies mentioned, bring a quarter for the cart and bring your own bags! They don’t bag for you or give free bags.
@girlymamaa, you can pick up empty boxes and utilize them, they’re generally near the front of the store. They have plastic and paper bags and they charge for each. Paper is $0.07/bag in the store here and plastic is $0.10/bag.
@queenmeeks, ahhhhhhh thank you for letting me know! 🙂 appreciate it!
Aldi is great you can get so much for less and the food is really good. You will need a quarter though for the cart in order to unlock it from the other carts.
Anyone shop at Aldi? I was wondering about their salmon....I don't want conflict fish 😆 I'm hoping it's fresh but anyone know if it's farm raised?
Is aldis a good place for grocery shopping ?
Aldis
Alright ladies! I'm about to make my first shopping trip to Aldi's. Is there anything I need to know? I know I'm weird but I'm nervous going into a different store where I don't know where everything is at. I'm trying to become a more frugal person.
I just want to find out what I’m having so I can start shopping... come let it be a boy 💙💙💙
Yes i love aldi!(: Bring a quarter!
