I wish my friends/family talked more about how to accept my body or other terrible things after pregnancy instead of every "terrible" thing you have to deal with with a baby. Taking care of and loving this baby is easy. Taking care of and loving myself is a totally different story.

This is so true. I struggled with this a lot. Not just the belly but everything changes... but look at what amazing thing your body did! It made and birthed a human!!

You'll feel this way for a while, it takes time for your body to fully recover. You're still swollen and your uterus still hasn't went back into place. Try and keep your head up love. If you haven't, maybe try a waist trainer? I know it made me feel better and helped with swelling and everything wasn't all over the place. The depression got to me bad and my hormones were all over, don't be afraid to talk with your doctor.

After I had my first son, I struggled with myself and I didn't have much confidence anymore but I already knew that you don't just shrink right down immediately, it was just common sense to me but I still struggled a little. After about a year I started feeling more confident again and I started to embrace my body as it was. It also help that at the time I had a boyfriend who always told me how sexy and beautiful my body was so that was a plus, although that relationship didn't last very long, it was still a major help.

Yeah there is never time for yourself after you have kids, let me tell you. I haven't done my own nails in almost 3 years, never have time or money to get my hair cut and highlighted, and I still look pregnant almost 11 months after have my twins. It's not fun. People still ask when I'm due. So just be lucky you did not have twins after already have one kid. Hey but look what my body did, made babies. It will get better in time for you, you are only 3 months out

BUUUTT being a mother is the most amazing thing I've ever experienced. Watching them grow, falling in love with them, seeing their personality...
