Was anyone else terrified mid-pregnancy of their first kid? I just found out I’m having a baby girl and my guy and I are having first time parent jitters 😖

I have two kids and I’m still afraid of them at times! I’m especially afraid of babies. They freak me out. But you get used to it! And you’ll forget what life was like before you had kids.

Yes! I think it is completely normal. I even had those feeling after birth like “what have I done?!” Lol but you get a new normal and you then wonder what you ever did before that baby!
I just saw her moving around in the last ultrasound and she’s so big and so beautiful, and my mom was terrible… And I just hope I can be a good mama. Honestly having this app is really nice because I don’t have any friends that are pregnant and everybody is still in drinking mode. And I realize that once you get pregnant, you have to find some new friends sometimes- I think that makes things harder.
@mellowkat91, I’m sorry your mom was terrible but I’m sure you have and will learn a lot from that alone! It is definitely harder to make Mom friends too. Everyone is so busy but date nights with friends and your SO is very important even if it is once a month.
I’m having my first baby as well and I’m 24 weeks still terrified but I know it will all be over after I have this angel by my side. You’ll be a great mama believe me 💖
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I had a terrible mother too. We don’t have that great of a relationship now. I feel like it’s made me a better mom. She was a shining example of what I didn’t want to do/be.
