@ss3mom, lol I get you. What I usually do though, which sometimes to get more hits rather than a miss, I just mis it up. For example, I LOVE cooking oriental food but he loves Hispanic foods.. I would try to tweak the recipes by incorporating familiar ingredients for taste or just have a side dish of each.
