I've talked about my relationship with my MIL on this app because writing about it felt like it helped a little.
I've had to witness a lot of tension, arguments and craziness from my husband's family this past month. My husband has had night terrors and had to sleep with the light on for weeks. Something happened last night and while I talked to my husband, I had a face paralysis and I couldn't utter a word for like an hour.
Fortunately, now I'm ok, but I thought I was having a stroke. It was one of the scariest moments in my life. What if the paralysis was permanent? What if I had had a stroke?
Toxic relationships are really dangerous. If you are in one, it has to stop today.
We are going to keep distance from his family until we move to California. Yes, that far! And I'm willing to go to China if that's what it takes to protect my sanity, for me and my family's health.

I actually know a couple people who have face paralysis, and it lasted awhile before their faces relaxed again. I’m sure it was scary. 💕

It was. All I could think of is what would happen to my child if I couldn't speak or move my face again.

@argiemom29, I totally get that.

Once when I was 16 I lost the ability to form sentences for about 45 minutes. I could think properly, but when I tried speaking it was random words that didn’t make any sense together. It was really scary! I’m glad your face relaxed again hun!
