I was a server in a high volume restaurant in downtown Chicago. I had a lot of issues with my first so I only worked until 32 weeks, with my second I worked until 38 weeks.
I worked until I physically couldn’t reach my patients and equipment at the same time and I was confident in my fill in. I think I was about 37 weeks. Had him at 40+6.
Until I went into labor at 38w2d my job doesn’t have maternity leave so I’ve been using my sick time and annual leave. After 11 weeks off I go back to work January 2nd. Unless the government is still shut down
Until I go into labor, with all my babies. My youngest, I worked until 4pm that day then was in target at 6, water broke at 7:15 and had him at 10:15
With my daughter I worked untill 37 weeks. I wanted to work untill I had her but I was having constant contractions and I was constantly on the move and had to take the time off because of how much pain I was in. (I had her at 38 weeks) With my son I worked untill I had him. I was scheduled to work the day he came. I was working in the same position just different places with both of them. But the job I have now let me sit whenever we weren't busy. They gave me a chair and let me run register instead of making me constantly run.
I worked up until I got induced at 37 weeks. I would have kept working until the baby came either way. Worked at a bakery at that point. On my feet all day.
I was an administrative assistant and I worked up until birth with all 3. Our first my last day was Friday, went into labor Saturday and he was born Sunday (vaginal). Our second I worked Monday and he was born Tuesday morning (vaginal). Our third I worked Wednesday and he was born Friday by scheduled c section.
With both of my kids I worked until I gave birth 39 weeks with my oldest and 38 weeks with my youngest.
What kind of work did you do if you mind me asking

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.

I really don't understand the judgment between being a working mom or a stay at home mom. If you need to work, work. If not, don't. No need to degrade other women for doing the opposite of you. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
