My 3 year is scared to poop in the toilet & its making potty training impossible ! He pees in the toilet but when he has to poop he cries for his diaper. Any suggestions ?

My son was the same but it took some time. One day I just told him that there were no more diapers, and that he had to use the toilet. I had to hold his hand the first few times, but after awhile he got the hang of it.

I bought boxes of candy that are 1$, and just told him he could have them when he pooped on the toilet.
Update: Lost the baby on toilet he just slipped out of me 😰😰😰😰😰😰
Y’all how many of your kids that are 4 going on 5 not potty trained I am trying to prove a point to my bf my son will pee in the toilet but not poop in the toilet

So this may be tmi but my boyfriend left for work knowing we were out of toilet paper and he has my car and oh my god I have to poop so bad.
My son still won't go poop without us having to force him on the toilet for over an hour.,it's been a week now since he went and I'm getting so stressed out. We tried everything he is just literally holding it now today he won't go pee bc he knows he will have to poop too he keeps wiggling around and you can tell he has to go but he just won't -.- I'm so mad

Currently going through the same with my little one. She’s great about going all day and even knows she’s got to poop. She’ll go sit but won’t ever poop. She says “it’s too hard” and will get off before she can go. I’m worried she’s holding it in.
