I had my little boy 5weeks ago and I’m still bleeding. Is this normal? It’s not everyday but I have to wear a pad. It’s not red anymore but its brown which I know means old blood. I’m just getting frustrated because I’m not comfortable with wearing pads everyday but I can guarantee if I didn’t wear one I’d bleed. I’m still aching down there too. As you can probably tell I am a FTM and I’m so unsure of what I should’ve expected but I thought I’d have been back in ‘normal’ pants by now lol. Sorry for the long post. X

I bled for 9 weeks after my last baby but only 4 weeks with my daughter before that. Can’t remember with my first. X

I bled for 6 weeks after birth with both of mine then had a period 2 weeks after that. Your body is all going back to normal so it’s gonna take time just remember you haven’t had a period for 9 months but it’s completely normal xx

Normal, I was 5 weeks also and so I went down to wearing liners as they were much more comfortable for just the brown discharge but then started my period straight after!
