Not only do I find out I have cancer for Christmas but my husband has been a complete asshole ever since I find out I asked nothing of him but give me support and love and what has he been doing nothing but sleeping all the time, not talk to me and give attitudes I’m over it!

It could be that he doesn’t know how to handle the idea of losing his best friend. The person that means everything to him. It sounds like he’s depressed. I agree that he should be more caring and loving but it might just take him some time. I’ll say a prayer for you and I’m really sorry you’re going through this!

It sounds like he’s having a hard time putting his thoughts together about it. I hope he’s not being mean to you. Maybe suggest some therapy for both of you to better understand.

Really sounds like that's how he's dealing with his emotions.., my husband will be like that when something is really upsetting.. it's kinda like them shutting down
