I think the only thing that makes me worry is how long he will be gone and if everything is going to be okay. We just had our first kid and I’m just scared of something happening
My husband was in a combat zone during his deployment. He was on base and they couldn’t leave the entire. It was pretty safe I wasn’t too worried. It’s not always like that but it’s all different circumstances.
I was in the army deployed the 4 months after getting to fort Bragg. I know someone that was in 6 years before he deployed. Being deployed isn’t a bad thing. It’s hard but it’s what comes with being in the military. Don’t think if he goes or if he picks a specific job that he won’t go. The unit I was in had no use in Iraq. They changed everyone’s job so they could be part of it.
it depends on the asvab score. That determines the job. Then he can make a list. They need aircraft mechanics so if that’s what he wants he should be able to get it.

a pit might fall under the breed restriction depending on the base he is stationed at just like a breed restriction can apply in civilian housing.

He’s considered a crew chief. He was at Travis afb in California for 9 years. He was in turkey for 1 year and now we’re in Dover Delaware for 3 years.
