Absolutely. I was not gonna risk infecting the giant wound up in there. Plus I had a couple stitches so that made it painful even after 6 weeks.

Yes. You risk infection if you don’t and like someone stated above, I was also bleeding the whole 6 weeks so 🤷🏼‍♀️ but mostly the infection part
