Can the doctors tell what the sex of the baby is if the babys cord is right there on the area of baby?

They're better at it now than they were 19 years ago. When I was pregnant with my oldest daughter, the told me she was a boy at my anatomy scan. When I went for the growth scan at 32 week, they said nope, she's a girl. The must've been looking at the umbilical cord

@kmomma she told me it was a girl and that the babies cord was right there in the area but she said its most definitely a girl because she doesn't see anything sticking out....and they couldn't print a pic machine wasn't working..

Well I'm an ultrasound tech so they're different to me... to me the only way I can't tell is if their legs are closed. Did they give you a pic or just say they couldn't tell?

Yes they can tell. They look different, especially as far along as you are!

Yes, but it’s tricky. The cord and genitalia look different, but not a ton, so to someone who’s not as experienced, it can be mixed up

If they are good enough at looking for other markers then yes. But I wouldn’t trust it 100%
