I'm on the birth control pills, levonorgestrel & ethinyl estradiol. I start taking them today. when did you ladies start having unprotected sex? My nurse said to wait at least a month, I read online & on the packet to wait at least 7 days. what should I expect while being on the pill? Side effect wise, this is my first time

Definitely wait the month. Most birth control needs a month to actually be effective. Side effects will really depend on you. You may not have any at all. Everyone reacts differently. 🙂
It was working for a min I got my shoot 3 days late but in that time got pregnant
@3xmommyx This is why my doctor always insisted condoms even with birth control. Nothing is ever 100%! I've actually met a few women who got pregnant on birth control.
I say don’t have unprotected sex I was on birth control and just fount out I’m six months today 🤷🏾♀️
i would at least wait 2 weeks or a month. i’ve been on the pill many years, with 0 unexpected pregnancies. so long as you’re taking it properly, you should not get pregnant. you can expect breakthrough bleeding the first month.
