Okay guys, i need help.. Since my lo was in nicu, i had to pump for when i wasnt there so they could use it during his feedings and now i cant get him to latch anymore. 😭
He only wants the bottle.. I try so hard to get him to latch, and he might for a few seconds but wont actually eat til he is done.. How do i get him away from the bottle?

I had that issue with my second. His dad felt like he wasn't getting enough milk and basically forced me to pump so we could track thr amount of milk he was getting each feeding. Unfortunately he never fully figured out how to latch again, but did a lactation consultant come around after delivery? Where I live they will give you contact information for them and they will come to your house or have you schedule an appointment at the hospital to help you.

Keep latching him. He'll take eventually. Try squeezing milk into his mouth. And if he still won't latch give him milk in a spoon or syringe don't do the bottle.

Have you tried a nipple shield? My daughter had issues latching and we used a combination of nipple shield and the nuke mother's like breast nipples on her bottle and it helped her learn to latch.
