I love my boyfriend to death but he really pisses me off sometimes. He gets home just in time now to watch our daughter before I go to work for a couple hours babysitting. I used to bring her but it’s just too stressful. Every single day he literally just falls asleep and lets her sleep too. for hours. When it’s
not even her nap time. She doesn’t get her snack. She doesn’t play. It’s so annoying. I’d rather deal with the stress & bring her with me than have her sleep or watch tv while he sleeps. I understand he works hard and early in the morning but parenting never ends.

Imo, if you’re going to take the title of a parent or guardian you have to be involved in the development of that child. Mentally, physically it is a sacrifice but that’s why some men prove to be too weak to stick around.
A father is involved, not a temporary helper or babysitter. That’s a profession we pay money for and even they aren’t allowed to sleep on the job.
My man loses sleep but he tells me the reward is having a happy wife, child and home.
Put your foot down momma and speak some passionate truth to your man.
It’s a partnership or it’s a negotiation.

I agree. There’s days hubby goes to work on 3-4hrs of sleep because he’d rather stay up and be with us and helping than to sleep.
Usually I’m the one trying to get him to go to bed. Lol
