Has anyone been induced at 38 weeks and baby came without c-section... ive had 2 inductions but at 39 weeks 1st one took 48hrs 2nd one 6hrs but thinking 38 weeks are too early

Damn 😩 i dont want a c-section but as its my 3rd im hoping that it wont be the case
I was induced at 38wks with my daughter took most the day but all was fine.
I'm being induced again 38+1 tomorrow. Hopefully it works I've read alot of failed inductions recently and how they are taking days for baby to be born
@miss_bubbles well hopefully ya levels will be good, i bet u cant sleep right 🙈 i can never sleep the night before induction or it takes a while lol
@leanne2016 I can't wait. A little nervous last pregnancy was years ago. Done alot of walking today. Had sweep yesterday got some pains x

Phew thanks hun im just worried coz theyve started me on insulin today and my bloods are not controlled good enough so they said i may have to be induced now im on insulin but wont know more till 9th jan 🙈
@leanne2016, both my girls were healthy and perfect babe 37 weeks is classed as full term anything over is weight gain which is why they can choose to start induction then. Mine were 7lbs 1.5oz at 37+4 and 5lbs 15oz at 38 weeks so I wouldn’t worry x
Our list of names so far...but we can't agree on a single one!! We find out the gender in two weeks so at least that will eliminate one column!

Ladies when did your drs start doing pelvic exams ? I'm 38 weeks and I asked for one today and they said after 39 weeks
Anyone have any luck with getting a membrane sweep done? I am going to ask for one next week at my 38 week appointment (that's the first week they'll start to do it) also, hoping it may slowly work before getting induced the following week due to gestational diabetes. Thanks!
