Why cant you eat sushi, deli meats, hot dogs, or tuna while pregnant?! All I've done this pregnancy is eat deli ham and cheese sandwiches microwaved :(
You can eat tuna once a week. I ate deli meat every pregnancy is moderation. You can also eat sushi if there isn’t any raw fish.
Tuna - really really only once a week but the other stuff yeah haha i ate hot dogs but only limited obviously sushi i didn’t eat and deli meats nope
My major cravings have been ham and cheese sandwiches and balogna with mustard
Tuna has too much mercury which affects the baby’s development. And raw fish it’s... raw fish. So unsafe . And nasty . Lol I hate it . But hey you can eat cooked crab and shrimp sushi.! 🤷🏻♀️ something is something
Chemicals in the deli meats and hotdogs, raw fish can make you sick, tuna and other fish may have high levels of mercury.
You can eat these things as long as they’re cooked and in moderation.
Because of the risk of listeria, it's especially higher in the 3rd trimester because your immune system is not as strong. Listeria is a dangerous sickness and can be deadly
I don't like sushi anyway but like I never knew this for my other kids
Listeria and other bacteria’s can threaten your pregnancy
I ate all of that for both my pregnancies.
Well expect sushi. I've never tried that before.
How many of you are deli meat while pregnant
I’m craving a subway melt form subway but hate to breakdown and eat deli meat.. the struggle

What do you miss eating?
I miss deli sandwiches! I told hubby after delivery.. I want a HUGE roast beef and swiss.. and sushi!
So I can eat deli meat? My SO made an amazing sub and I want to eat!
Is it OK to eat ham from the deli if I fried it w melted cheese on the stove (hot ham and cheese melt)
You can up to 12 oz of tuna a week
You can have sushi, just not high mercury fish like shark or swordfish.
Deli meat and hot dogs, heated to steaming.
No soft cheeses like brie or feta
No unpasteurized eggs, or drinks
All of this is to protect baby from things like Listeria, metal poisoning, and other dangerous illnesses.
