Does anyone have experience or knowledge of the shingles? I have really bad anxiety about my daughter getting sick with anything because she was a preemie. My boyfriends grandma just posted on facebook that she has the shingles and google (yeah I know I shouldn’t use google) says it lasts 3-5 weeks and that my daughter could get the chickenpox if she touches her because she doesn’t have the vaccine yet...Is this true?

Like everyone said, keep her away until it’s gone and then some. The disease sheds, so she may think she feels fine and looks fine but she really isn’t 100% yet

I’ve had shingles and my husband has never had chickenpox so he stayed far away from me for awhile. Just keep baby away from the sores and should be fine.
