Why does she need to wean off her night feeding at 4 mos? Her stomach is still small and that is a long time to go without.
I highly doubt she'll do it by herself and I don't think it would be good for you to try and cut it out either. At that age baby should ve eating every few hours.

I wouldn’t try. I read online it happens by 4 months.

Every baby is different. 😊 Both my son and my daughter started sleeping through the entire night at 6 weeks, which is rare. My son’s doctor told us that at 6 months baby no longer needs to be fed in the middle of the night if they wake up.

My son has! I can count on one hand how many times he hasn’t slept through the night since 6 weeks old. He’s just a really good sleeper. My daughter has slept through the night every night (except 1) since 6 weeks and she’s 13 weeks now. She usually sleeps 10 hours straight at night. We’ll see if that changes though. I’ve come to the conclusion that they’re just like their dad. I’m the only one in the house that doesn’t sleep through the night. 😂

@aengs2, I’m glad they take after their dad then lol. I’m just surprised that through teething and other spurts that your babies still slept through the night. That’s amazing

4 months? No way.
6 months? Possibly.
10 months? maybe...
Depends on the baby. Breastmilk doesn't keep baby a "full" as long as formula does, so no way at 4 months will she wean off night feeds.... then you have to think that growth spurts, teething, developmental mile stones and baby's own body system will play a part into it all. When my daughter was 1yo she still needed 1 feeding in the middle of the night to let her sleep properly. My son stopped needing when he was 11months. Every child is different, but good God not 4 months

My baby sleeps through the night (about 6-8 hours) and isn’t even 3 months yet. I just go with what baby wants- if he wakes up earlier, I feed him earlier.

True that’s like me. The sleep regressions are the worse, I had my share for 3 weeks
