How do you know if your water breaks????

See I have no contractions. Just that bloody mucus and I can feel my cervix not so high because before I couldn’t reach at all. Hmmm

The first pregnancy. I was laying down and felt a huge gush of water. I ran to the bathroom and it would not stop. I would get up and then it would trinkle down. Lol so i was on the toilet for awhile.

My second pregnancy, i needed to pee and i did.After that i felt a gush again. I knew from the previous pregnancy my water had broke so i just sat around in the toilet watching youtube 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣 and then i finally screamed out my water broke LOl i hopped in the shower got ready, while my SO was running around like a crazy lady. LOL I took my time, got starbucks, chickfila. Then off to the hospital we went.

I had a cramp and then felt that i have wet underwear. It was clear and only two drops. I wasn't sure but doctor confirmed that my water btoke

Yep!! @mhbb3 @ryans_mommy14 I had a slow high leak that didn't gush unless I was lying down on my left side. I barely felt the trickle outside of that and thought I was leaking urine since that happens 1-2 weeks before labor. I had bloody show with this everytime I had the gush lying on my side. Because it was a high leak I almost had to be induced because my contractions were irregular after that and did not get to 4-5 minutes apart and intense until almost 36 hours later. Had I not had a CNM I would have gone to the hospital right away.

Not everyone feels or hears the pop or has a gush of water. Mine was a slow leak and I didn't even realize until we went in the next morning.

I didn’t have a pop with mine. I had the sensation that I needed to pee. I sat on the toilet and it was slowly leaking out. Went back to bed and felt the sensation again but this time when I went to get up I felt a gush and it just kept on going lol

I had a very slow leak and thought I was peeing myself very little but many times. It would mostly happen when I moved but not every time. It wasn’t leaking if I sat still. I went and got it checked just to be sure. Had baby 8 hours later.
