I’m getting really sick of my mom group on fb. Every time I comment to a post about setting up play dates, they answer everyone but me. I look a bit young but I’m not and I feel these other moms see my photo and just don’t wanna hang out with me b/e I look younger than them. I’m 29.. And im not complaining b/e I think I look young but more b/e ppl judge a book by its cover. I don’t look so young in my opinion but I’m told I do.. I don’t even kno.. sorry, rant over

Women are caddy. Maybe try posting a little about yourself, including your age, children, hobbies, kids hobbies, etc. That’s what I did in a local mom group and met my best friend that way.

I feel the same way about the other moms at my daughters school. I dont know if it's because I'm shy or younger than them, but I've never felt welcome in their groups. On another note, were the same age and I also live in chicago!
