Our daughter is still spitting up/projectile vomiting almost each feeding not even 6 oz... Our daughter is 2 months...at her 2 month appointment we brought up this and her pediatrician told us she isn't worried about it because our daughters gaining weight and whenever we had gotten home, I tried to explain to my hubby that I don't agree with our daughters pediatrician that it's "okay" that she is spitting up/projectile vomiting almost every feeding...she's already projectile vomited 2 times tonight, I gave her 1 bath already before the 2nd time she did it... I finally just gotten her asleep cuz she kept wanting to eat cuz she keeps doing it. My hubby doesn't agree with me, he says if her pediatrician says she isn't worried about it then it's not a problem because she is a doctor, but I think it's not, not okay for her to be spitting up/projectile vomiting almost each feeding..we also mentioned that our daughter might be lactose intolerant like her dad and we would like to switch her to soy but our pediatrician disagrees and says just going through a growth spurt...I'm not sure what to do at the moment with the situation..my mom told me to find another pediatrician but the one we have is just down the road from us...I need advice..

Maybe 6oz is too much? That seems like a lot for a 2 month old?

She's 12 lbs right now we try to give her 4 oz each bottle but she cries after 4 oz like she's still hungry for some reason

If you want a second opinion, then absolutely get a second opinion. There’s nothing wrong with that. We’ve talked to two doctors about our daughter’s vomiting and they aren’t concerned because it’s not every single feeding and she’s gaining weight as well as having enough wet and dirty diapers. But most of all, it really doesn’t seem to bother her. Best of luck!

Definitely get a 2nd option. Some doctors are just full of shit.

Hope you get answers! ❤️

Maybe try feeding her less more often. My son was only drinking 3 or 4 oz at 2 months every two hours. Also try looking up hunger cues online it will help you know when he's hungry and not just crying or fussy for some other reason. I would Definately get a second opinion. Im acting switching doctors myself

@bipolarmommyofone maybe try giving her a teething toy to chew on or a toy to play with to distract her. She doesn't know yet that if she eats too much she will throw up. Hope you mind something to help her 😊 my son use to throw up like that but only if I fed him too much

Мама дочки (1 год), беременна (24 нед.)

Have you tried to keep baby upright. We had waited at least almost 45 min to an hour after each feeding.

We also took breaks in between feedings to burp as well as cut down on the oz’s per feeding on and just feed her more often.

Those methods helped us a little bit. She ended up having to be on medication and that worked for about 2 weeks and then it stopped. We were told to increase her dosage so we asked for a second opinion.

Her pediatrician switched her entirely to Similac Alimentum ( my daughter preferred the “ Ready To Feed “ version ). &’ That was a miracle formula for us. She was off the medication and her reflux had decreased dramatically and eventually stopped. But we did see a difference right away.

We do try to keep her sitting up right after every feeding sometimes she will still do it even if we burp her and let her sit upright it's frustrating.. We normally give her 4 oz but she keys using her hungry cry after that bottle
