Does your hubby understand the dating of the pregnancy now? Make sure he goes with you to the dr so they can explain too.
You might also find it helpful to make a list if questions to ask your Dr. I like to get answers myself but some people like to ask.
I reccomend a lot of reading and research. Definitely keep an open mind and actually listen to comments on here and you'll learn alot. You should know how your body works as a woman, not just through experience of being a mom.
With my son my doctor wouldn’t see me until 8 weeks. Same with this pregnancy

With my first it was 6 weeks.... your doctor will let you know at your ultrasound how far along you are
Add two weeks to when you think you got pregnant. That's how pregnancy is counted. Not from the day you had sex.
You're not 3 weeks pregnant becuase you go by your last cycle... if you ovulated around Thanksgiving, you're more like 5-6 weeks.

I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was like 5 weeks then I scheduled my appointment for the next week which is when I was 6 weeks. So since you found out early that's probably why it's scheduled earlier.
It went gud I'm 5 week's & 3 days i got my sonogram
