What are some good oganization things to get for your house? We moved into my grandparents old house…

1.) Half of everything goes

Ironically kids actually play better with less stuff in their face.

2) tubs with lids.

Everything has a tub it belongs to (superhero tub, little people tub, play kitchen tub, cars tub, etc) if it doesn't fit into a tub, bye bye toy.... plus before you get a different tub you must clean up the tub you previously used. I got a bookshelf from a 2nd hand store , so I put all of their tubs on the book shelf shelves and it is inside my youngest daughters closet (I can close the doors and it disappears from sight, plus it saves on space.)

I do very minimal cleaning of toys in my house. My kids are 4+3 and they both understand and cooperate fantastic with this method.

Oh, and before I buy any toys we fill up a diaper box of toys we don't want, and give it to a second hand store

I'm definitely going to try most of these. I hate my house looking like it does and I hate cleaning all the time
