Six weeks. I was not a lucky one.

Every lady differs: after i had my daughter I only bled 2 or 3 weeks out of the whole 6 weeks before my post partum check up and was Breastfeeding her- When I went to my 6week check up with my Dr I chose Birth control and due to the one I chose I didn't ever get periods as long as I didnt miss my next shot.. I breastfed her for approximately a year.
