Have any of you mamas given ur LO probiotics? My babygirl is going on 6 wks & was 6 wks early (so she spent 3 wks in NICU) so they put her on neosure formula with iron. At the hospital the whole 3 wks she didnt have barely any gas but was on the readymade neosure formula but since shes been home (almost 3 wks) i had to get the powdered formula with my WIC which has been SUPER rough on her tummy😢 she has had constant gas and with 85% of the time it being so painful for her, I begged her pediatrician to change her formula to a soy or gentle ease and she didnt want to switch it yet saying she needs the iron and it takes a few wks for newborns to get used to formula being their digestive system has to figure out how to work it out and in a few wks we can change it if she doesnt change. She then suggested gripe water, gas drops, warm washcloths on her belly, bicycle legs..and probiotics. I finally am trying the Mommys bliss probiotics (after nothing else has worked) & last night put a couple drops in her night time bottle..half asleep and sleep deprived this morning i noticed it was sup to be a few drops THRU OUT the 24 hrs !! So now she is having more//worse gas pains then before and now 95% of her DAY today was painful gas, not just gas if that makes sense. So of course realizing i gave her too much too fast i havent tried giving her anymore yet and am now super nervous to any give her anymore after the 24 hrs of the dosage passes worrying that it just might not be going well with her belly...does anybody give their littles probiotics, & how was the outcome of it?? HELP !!

Gentle ease formula has iron. Thats why he pooops green!
For tummy trouble I gave them colic calm and it worked wonders.
I was thinking of trying something other then gripe water but keeping her on the probiotics, so ill try thr calm is it in general locations like a walmart or a target do u know by chance

@siobhanbonfitz2018, with my first daughter I used it more. She had tummy issues and within 15min of taking it she was back to being a happy baby. Colic calm is black so just don’t get scared if she spits it up or you see it in her poop.
Definitely use some good probiotics! Health starts with a healthy gut. I used upspring when my daughter was that young and she responded well to it.
My son was on antibiotics for a horrible ear infection and I started giving him probiotics which seemed to help his stomach. He was closer to a year old when I started giving them to him. I would check with her Doctor, I don't think their would be any harm in giving her any but to make sure she us getting the right amount
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
I want to try similac sensitive formula it helps with babies who can’t pass gas, but I noticed under nutrition information that it has ash, what does that mean? Any suggestions. My baby is currently on nestle good start probiotic formula but he’s got a hard time passing gas and cries in pain. :(
I wanted to do one of these before our breastfeeding journey ended. I have a feeling it’s soon 😔 since her dr has us giving her formula to give her more calories, I’m finding it difficult to give her breastmilk as well. She gets full off of me alone so she doesn’t want the formula if I breastfeed her first. And if I give her formula first, she doesn’t want the breastmilk. Does anyone know what else works for a bad diaper rash ?? Idk why my baby is pooping so much but she poops at least 3-4 times after each feed & its making her rash worst. I dab when i clean her instead of wiping to avoid from irritating it & ive even tried changing the kind of formula twice. The poop is not even alot its probably like 2 or 3 little wet drops on the diaper but i feel so bad because i know that it hurts her. & ive triedd all these products !!
So we are at my mother in laws and she tells my husband to give her wipes so she can change the baby, and I said I can change my kids diaper I don't need her to to do it, so of course my husband just gives her the wipes and she changes arias diaper!
Ok so then she disappears with my baby whatever,, and I get home and change arid diaper and she has a diaper on that's not hers, and it's to big, and i ask my husband where did this diaper come from and he says idk she went and changed her that time...
Oh and i feed him activia yogurt.
