I’ve never been induced so I don’t know if that makes a difference but both times I had a baby I spent a lot of time roaming the halls to keep things moving. I had been admitted and wasn’t wearing wireless monitors. They just let me detach from the monitors for an hour or so at a time.

I just unplugged the monitor and they let me walk around.

Yeah you can walk. If you plan on getting an epidural, you can’t after that.

For my induction they used the gel first so I never had an IV. They wanted me to move around to help progression.
