Tips on breast feeding? Plan on doing it this time around even though I didn't do it with my first two. Haven't had the time or energy to attended any classes to help. Read books but still not confident enough. Any do's or don'ts?
@sabrinavee It's ok. I wish everyone knew what I know now about BF. My first DD was born with health conditions and couldn't BF for the first two months without damaging me, then finally got a healthy latch and two months later she was hospitalized. I EP'd for 5 months. I gave in then due to stress and other reasons but tell people if I can be successful under my circumstances which I can't discuss here then anyone can be. It's the most natural thing ever but doesn't always come naturally. Too many women give up because they don't know any better. We need to help and support one another so we can be successful along our mothering journey!!!
@xryztalroze oh I see. Well you have a good point, and I certainly appreciate the support because your right, I just wanna try & succeed because this time, is most important to me to not give up. I most definitely going to have to find that book.
@mommyoftwo_2019 most definitely. I appreciate it. I guess I lack the confidence because I hear of alot of babies not latching on so the moms fail in being able to breastfeed.
@sabrinavee lactation consultants are great, depending on your dr office and delivery hospital- my OB office had lactation consultants and after I delivered the hospital had lactation consultants on call 🙂
Every mommy is different, Expecting Baby Number 2 and plan to breast feed again- With my diva It was an emotional process, your breast have to get use to breast feeding and the baby to latching on so the first week or so your nipples are sore but they have this Laniosh Nipple cream you can use prior to and after breastfeeding it worked great! But honestly once you get pass that it's a lovely bonding period with you and your bundle!🙂 You'll start to know your milk flow, What positions are best for you (Boppy Pillows are amazing way to support you and baby)What's a best pumping schedule for you (Depends on you and baby's schedule which can be hectic on a day to day basis!) Think my favorite part of breast feeding is knowing you pump and freeze milk up to 5-6 months I believe 🙂 make sure you have the "4 B's" lol Breast Pump, Baggies, Boppy Pillow and Bottles lol and you're Good to Go!💓✔ Wishing you the best on your Breast Feeding journey and Congratulations on your Growing Family. 💓😚👶
