Someone ask me today why doesn’t my son use a pacifier honestly he did before, but I took his out a couple of months ago before he turn one because to me I can’t stand to see a child that can walk and still use the pacifier is like okay they are toddler/ kid but they not a baby anymore
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.
WHY DOES IT SEEM LIKE MY BABY IS TRYING TO USE MY BOOBS AS A PACIFIER TO...HE EATS WHEN HE IS HUNGRY BUT ITS STARTING TO SEEM LIKE HE WILL GO TO SLEEP ON MY BOOB AND NOT TAKE HIS PACIFIER..HE DOESNT LIKE THE PACIFIER FROM THE HOSPITAL. MAYBE I SHOULD BUY HIM A PACIFIER THATS FOR BREASTFED BABIES..HES GONNA HAVE TO GET ONE FOR WHEN HE IS AT DAYCARE BECAUSE I WONT BE NEAR FOR ATLEAST 5-6 HOURS 😣😣
So I found the email he used he got me to believe he wasn't cheating looking for friends but I figured out the email he used and he bought a new phone to use....
I guess sharing my personal info on here means having it used against me in a personal disagreement yes I was raped and no you have no right to use my daughter against me as a personal jab

I never used a paci for neither of my kids. 🤷🏻♀️

Well since my daughter only has 7 teeth so she's still teething I don't think it's best to break her just yet 😫 . I'm planning on it soon tho. Good thing is she only uses her paci at night.

My son is 2 and still uses one for bed. It soothes him so I just let it be. I tried to wean him before my daughter was born and those few nights were torture. My oldest rarely took one and my daughter is weaning herself off and chews on it instead. Every baby is different but I hope to be paci free by the time he is 3 lol.

I don't really mind but my second to youngest brother kept his around until he just stopped using it himself when he was 3.5. Eventually they stop on their own.

My boy couldn’t figure it out and always makes himself gag 😂🤷🏼♀️ oh well my oldest took one & my other two are thumb suckers 😂😂🤦🏽♀️ lol it really just depends on the child

lol aww but watch it because remember their teeth are growing and that can cause problem the way the teeth grows

oh my girls have pretty straight teeth there’s really nothing that can be done to break the habit but watch them loose interest she’s usually redirected but that only works to an extent with things you can’t actually take away. Thankfully they’re both outgrowing it. I would have much rather them taken a paci.

My kids never used a pacifier. I tried giving it to them but they didn't like it. But I'm glad they didn't.
I can't stand seeing 5-6 years old using pacifier

Greyson still has his paci but unless he is sick he only has it for nap and bedtime. 2 and up is when I start feeling like it's weird to see a toddler with a paci.

What ever float your boat love for me is once a baby start walking I honestly don’t like to see it well those are not my kids but I knew I didn’t want to see my kids walking with a pacifier

I swore the whole time I was pregnant baby boy wasn’t gunna have a paci. I was wrong. Lol. He loves his paci. I’ll just deal with taking it away when the time comes. 🤷🏼♀️ although I’m not sure I’m looking forward to that 😂

Well when u are ready to deal with them long night that’s when u take it out another big problem was if we didn’t have one and we left it back home by mistake it would be a problem so yeah that’s was another annoying thing to deal with

yes. I always have a spare paci in the diaper bag! I’m not sure exactly when I want to take it away. I guess maybe when hes a year??

That was me 100% with my first child.. I was not gonna have a child that walks and uses a paci but I have a bigger problem... My New New is a thumb sucker and that isn't so easy to take away lol. I like pacifiers they help lessen the chances of SIDS so I'm fine with them as an infant.

@chanty1014 , exactly! The parents have to stick firm to it meaning it takes sacrifices on our end. When I took it from my oldest we both went a night and a half with no sleep... She was crying and so was I lol!

I know that's right! And for me I kept in my mind if they're sucking then they're breathing. In my SIDS courses with work they tell you to offer it to them to help lessen the chances.

I never used a pacifier with either of mine. I don't think they're necessary.

Some babies use it for comfort I only put mines when he was going to sleep or if we went out in public and started to cry

They aren't necessary but helpful bc they lessen the chances of SIDS

That’s good I was one to say that and I use it for my son it was good for a while but once it get older I was like oh no let me take it off u getting big now u not a baby no more

it's not for everyone haha.. it's a lifestyle without them😩. I mean, my hair is thinning and turning grey lightning fast but.. they don't have any attachments to anything.. which is good I guess lmao.

He is going to cry and u might no get no sleep for a couple of night but trust me so worth it plus is not a good for their teeth 🦷 since there teeth are developing

i been trying, but he usually only wants it to sleep. But i think imma just let him sleep with it while we get adjusted to the new baby.. I hate pacis. My soster in law introduced it to him while i was at work (after i told her no pacis) and taking it has been a nightmare

damn I know how u feel I was so against it and my son basically only use it to go to sleep it was long night and it was hard but trust me little by little ur little one will get use to not having it and that mess up I would be mad as hell
