Growth spirt or should i be worried?
So paislee is 6 months, she been easy since birth with sleeping, always all night long. Very normal naps. Recently she started wanting to wake up in the middle of the night just to play. Well, now, she is sleeping 14 hours at night, i put her down at 6pm, and i had to wake her a little after 9 the next morning because we needed to leave. Then, she's wanting to wake up, eat, and go right back to bed and will sleep until i wake her again can be as long as 3 hours at a time, all day long then again at night sleeps 14 hours almost. Sound normal?
Makes alot of sense, she's still 6 months and she's damn near walking and crawling at then sane time while learning everything else
@paislees_momma, yeah all the extra sleep gives them the fuel to hit the milestones .
Maybe?... Sounds like shes catching up on some much needed growing sleep. Mowgli went through this too where he slept all night and then was a wake most of the day then all the sudden he was waking up at 4am, back down by 6 and sleeping for the majority of the day. Hes back to sleeping through the night, but is now fighting naps
Waking to feed?
My dd is a week old and I was told by her doctor to wake her every 2 hours during the day and 3-4 hours at night to feed her. For the first 3 days I did that and when I would wake her fit a night feeding she was fussy and usually wouldn't go back to sleep and would want to nurse constantly until about 9 am. I tried not waking her last night and she slept beautifully! She woke up around 6 hours in and ate then slept another hour or so and ate again. Is it ok to let her sleep?
So my baby is 8 weeks old and is thriving with weight gain each doctors visit. So here is my question: around 4-5 hours at night for sleep she wakes up every night and sucks on her thumb. (She finally this week likes it to soothe her during nap times) her eyes are still closed and she moves around and sucks it. I wake her to feed her. My question is should I just let it go? And see if she is just soothing herself to sleep? I don't want her to stave by morning if she sleep a couple of more hours...
So we got in super late last night. Had to carry my daughter to bed.
She had the nerve to try and wake me up at 7:30am saying she wanted breakfast. Smh (She wanted me to fix her a spread)🙄
I told her to choose some cereal. I'll fix her a bowl. Of course there wasn't any cereal that she wanted today 😴
I told her spoiled ass to figure it out and I went back to sleep 😂🤣
She ate an eggo.

My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. Congratulations to everyone and I wish you all wonderful pregnancies and deliveries! ??❤️
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
Growth spurt probably , also when they’re about to
Hit a couple of milestones they sleep more .
