I didn't want to go clinic so early so am just starting Friday coming so I guess I'll hear my baby heartbeat at that clinic day..
@koolgirlabbi45 thats not good hun you should have bewn monitered the whole time. Theres a few tests I believe 2.? that you can take in your first trimester if you choose to to see if your baby will be born with any abnormalities that your no longer can take even if you wanted it. I found out I has an over active thyroid my first trimester which can be severely dangerous to baby if not taken care of so I had to be on medication. Your supposed to get a pap to check for infections it's so important to go for the baby it doesn't matter of you want to or not. And in some states they call cps if you don't go to prenatal appointments
@sleepymommy at first I went to private doctor everything was ok so now am just starting clinic .. I hope there's no default like things u mention with my baby...
Your doctor should be using a Doppler to hear it at each appointment after 6-7 weeks
@koolgirlabbi45, ultrasound wand up your vagina but they probably won’t use it at 19 weeks. It’s for early pregnancy when baby is too small and low to use regular ultrasound

Are you barley going to the doctor now.? Cause you hear the heart beat every appointment and bejng 19weeks you shoulda had about 4 appointments now and you should be finding out the gender.
