This may be a long shot but I’ve been trying to obtain a copy of my grandmothers Puerto Rico birth certificate so she can get a copy of her social security card and a New York State ID card For well over a year now . If any of you have a loved one who was born in Puerto Rico and needed the same thing I would appreciate some guidance ! Lol she was born in Utuado !

My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". So my oldest informed me that she will not be going to college or getting married and having kids. She said after she finishes high school she is going to Puerto Rico for 11 weeks and her dad is going to pay for it. She said she will just live with her father and me and not work or drive. I told her I’m not taking care of her when she’s an adult and she said that’s ok her dad will 🙄.

From what I know about birth certificates in the US you have to go where you were born to obtain one. I couldn't get my California birth certificate in Nevada I had to come back to the Hall of Records in my town.
