Hey, mommas. So, a couple months ago I posted about a little boy, Luke, who had been suffering for a long time with the disease GM1. He had passed and his little brother is now the only one in the family suffering from it. My step-dad just texted my fiance to update us and tell us, the younger brother, Isaiah is getting worse and they don't think that he will make it through the week... and at Christmas time, too... It seems as if he just doesn't have the will to keep fighting, now, without his brother. The poor little guy has no one to understand or who can interact on his level anymore. They think he is having kidney failure, but it isn't confirmed. He just had his 8th birthday in September. My heart is breaking is ways I cannot describe, this little boy has had a special place in my life since he was born, we have always had a special connection. I cannot begin to imagine the feelings of the family to be in the process of really losing their second child in less than 4 months. This will be leaving one child, the middle, a girl, Montana who is only 9. She doesn't have the issues of her brothers but she is so young and will be a sister, with no brothers.
