Is it tacky to throw yourself a baby shower? It doesn’t sound like my family is giving me 1.😞

I pretty much threw my own. I had a different gender 4 years apart. You can throw a diaper party.

I’m throwing myself one! In my experience baby showers are for celebrating each new baby, so I don’t understand why people would only celebrate the first baby. My first was a boy and I’m having a girl now, I don’t expect gifts or anything, but I want to bring my friends and family together to celebrate my daughters life. 🤷🏻‍♀️

In my family u only get it once with first baby..! Or if u have another one like 5-6 years after the first but other than just one shower!! But sometimes i see

My best friend said she was going to throw one for me but hasn’t said anything since the beginning of my pregnancy. I guess it’s bothering me because I am having a hard time right now. It would be nice to have family around!

I threw myself one. I didn’t want one but my mom insisted and said she’d do it but then bailed so I had to throw it myself, but it was to bad

In my personal experience we only throw them for first babies.
