Theyve proven that washing meat actually doesn't do any harm or good. Like it won't kill the bacteria (only cooking on right temp will) but it also won't do any harm to wash it. Just a preference to people.

There is a huge difference between completely raw meat and meat that has been even slightly cooked. Also a huge difference between a grown man and a 4 year old’s immune system.
