Breastfeeding for me the second time around has actually been successful for me. It was painful with my first.

I breastfed my first for 3 months, but my supply dropped and i had to swap to formula. I just wish I could have breastfed longer. I plan to breastfeed my second as well.

I breastfed both of my children until they didn’t want it anymore, then I switched to formula.

I did 100 breast with my first and here we are 16 months still breastfeeding and I'm so tired of it. It's very convenient because I don't have to wash bottles or warm up milk or buy different bottles to adjust to what she eats but I'm always the one feeding her. She falls asleep within seconds of nursing so thats amazing. She'd nurse throughout the night so I rarely woke up. Shes only gotten sick 2x's since she was born so that's a plus. I did pump so others could help bottle feed when I wasn't available but its very tiring. I'm not sure how it is to formula feed so I can't give my input on that. Currently debating whether to formula feed or nurse our second. There's pros and cons but I think we choose what we can deal with best and what's more worth it.

Give it a try. If you can not do it don't stress out over it. Fed is best. Formula or breast. I had to do both bc my supply never came it and I stressed trying to do everything and it just didn't work so formula it was.

You could always try to breastfeed but I will let you know that it can be a struggle. So if you do decide to breastfeed try not to give up when it's hard. Sometimes a baby can be a pro and not give such a struggle but the connection is awesome! If you decide not to remember that formula is not bad either! As long as you feed your baby and is healthy then that's all that matters. Also get as much information as you can on breastfeeding so you don't go in blind. I think that will help.
