I delivered at 41 weeks exactly most doctors don’t let you go past 42 weeks
Until your doctor suggest induction or 42weeks. I was induced at 40weeks 2day my doctor wouldn't let me go to 41weeks or later because it can be dangerous
@isabellaohara 40weeks is "full term" some doctors will make you go till 42weeks but that's dangerous since your due date can be off by 2 weeks. In my cause I was 40weeks 2days but by my placenta I was over 42weeks and my placenta started to die and it gave my daughter an infection.

@sleepymommy, oh wow! How did they find out your placenta started die. He hasn’t been as active as he usually is these days
@isabellaohara after I had her she had some issues and had to be in the nicu so they ran pathology tests on my placenta because she had an infection and they couldn't figure out from what till the results came back and my placenta had started to die and getting infected (from dying) and she was getting the infection also.

Typically a doctor won't let you go past 42 weeks but most don't want to let you go that long due to an increased risk of an infection and other potential issues it could cause. I was induced at 40 exactly and even with that she wasn't born until I was 40+2.
