@isabellaohara 40weeks is "full term" some doctors will make you go till 42weeks but that's dangerous since your due date can be off by 2 weeks. In my cause I was 40weeks 2days but by my placenta I was over 42weeks and my placenta started to die and it gave my daughter an infection.
after I had her she had some issues and had to be in the nicu so they ran pathology tests on my placenta because she had an infection and they couldn't figure out from what till the results came back and my placenta had started to die and getting infected (from dying) and she was getting the infection also.
