Gift ideas for teachers!!! Up until this year, I have only had to get a gift for Danny’s teacher and we usually send something to the front office but now that Matt is in school, there is a lot more people. Matthew has a main teacher, two aides in the class and sees his speech therapist 2x a week and an occupational therapist 1x a week. Also, Danny is in choir so I would like to get his choir teacher something. With that many people, I can’t spend what I would normally spend for one teacher so any ideas at all, would be great!!!!
Matthew is in school all 5 days but only 2 and 1/2 hours whereas Danny is in school all day.

I use to be a teacher assistant and I love the homemade Christmas cards. Large candy canes, small hand sanitizers, and gift cards to get coffee.to be honest ... anything would make any teacher feel appreciated.

As a TA my favorite gifts were flowers or cards, oh and one parent gave me a $5 Dunkin gift card. The card though were my favorite and I still have a box of them.

These are cute you can DIY or I did see them at Kmart for $2. I would get this and go to the dollar store and get Christmas mugs and put these hot chocolate reindeer things inside the mug and call it a day! Lol

My son goes to a private Christian school so I got his teacher a Christian planner. And for the students I got them a candycane that contains m&ms for $1 each. Granted there’s only 10 kids in his class.

I also buy the main teacher a gift as well as if they have one assistant that is constant.
Now that I have multiple children in school I do a gift for the teacher and baked goods for the others if they are a constant support for my child.

Do we need to buy our kids teachers gifts? It seems like a common practice now. Are there regulations that forbid teachers from receiving gifts from students or students parents?

I don’t know if we need to but I wanted to give something small. At my kids school, I not aware of any regulations! I have never heard of anything like that.
