Could a 3 month old baby have an ear infection? He’s been tugging on his ears a lot, not eating or sleeping well at night, I know teething has the same symptoms and I know hunger too, but I know it’s not hunger for sure and because he has no fever or diarrhea I’m unsure if I should see a doctor.

Kids any age can get any infection.
I'd wait a day or two to see if new symptoms come forth. Sadly teething is way too similar.

That’s the problem they are similar. He went from sleeping 7-9 hours a night and for the past 2 weeks he’s been going to sleep around 9-10pm and he’s up at 1am or 2am it’s been like that on and off. I don’t know if he’s napping too much during the day. But he either takes short naps and falls asleep again or he takes a long afternoon nap. Then I try to keep him up until bedtime which is about 2-3 hour wake time.

... to me it sounds like teething and sleep regression. You'd know if he had an ear infection bc they are painful and he'd be super cranky always.
All you can do is try to help the teething and stick it out. You will drive yourself crazy with the delusion that babies sleep all night long.

you’re right. I guess I got happy with those few weeks that he was sleeping like a champ. Then suddenly he was back to one night feeding when it had stopped, he’d wake after 6am and eat then. Now he either feeds at 2am when he can’t sleep or 4am. Then he’s back to sleep but only for 2-3 hours.

Take what you can for now.

Guess so. Just puzzling why it changed lol
