My 6 month old has been so clingy lately but, not your normal average clingy baby. After researching it all, I find out that he has separation anxiety. Any other moms dealing with that?

Me...and my youngest STILL has it it's so annoying sometimes
My baby is just coming out of this stage. It's normal. They go through a period of wanting only their primary caregiver. Usually Mom. It just takes a little extra love and patience. It will come and go as they grow.
My son is about to hit 6months and i do believe he’s hitting this super clingy stage also, he’ll cry if I walk out the room, and now wants me to hold him or have him really close when he’s falling asleep. He senses or sees I’m not in the room and he starts getting fussy or cries ugh making to pretty hard to do anything rn
That’s exactly what I’m going through. Smalls tasks are becoming more difficult everyday. I find myself having to hold him while doing almost everything. If I put him down it’s Bloody Mary. I read up on separation anxiety and it gave me a whole new understanding on why he’s going through what he’s going through. But still... lol I’d like 5 mins to myself
@mar_la, yup same here and I refuse to hold him to make food on the stove top or anything I’m not chancing something splashing n burning him. So that’s a pain to get time to make food lol I might have to do some research abt it also, I’ve only read a little about it, my son likes hitting my phone out of hands when I’m actually trying to do something Lolol ugh but i definitely know what ur tlking abt 5 mins pweaseee! Lol
