Christmas traditions?? Does anyone have any they started with their babies? Share some ideas! 🎄

We do Christmas Eve boxes. My grandma always gave us a box with PJs to wait for Santa. It was my fav tradition. My kids get PJs, a movie and snacks.

We also get a new ornament every year

this years my sons first christmas i think i’m going to make it a tradition to make cookies for santa and watch christmas movies on christmas eve 😊

My grandparents always bought us a new Christmas ornament so I've done the same for my girls. I just write the year on it so they will know when they got it. We also drive around and look at Christmas lights.

Since my husband and I started dating, we’ve gone to Busch Gardens on Christmas Eve. His daughter (now 14) was 6 when we started going and it has become a tradition. The only year we missed was the year I had our daughter since I was 9 months pregnant.

We’ve done pictures with Santa every year too.

This is our first year putting up a tree and we let our daughter pick out her own ornament. We’d like to continue that every year as well.

I put up the tree and the boys put on the ornaments. Then as the month goes on, they take the ornaments off the tree and I pick them up at least once a day and put them back on the tree 🙄😂

We bake cookies together and watch Curious George a very monkey Christmas (and then a bunch of other Christmas movies). I feel like there's more but since it doesn't snow in Texas, all the others are being vetoed. Can't go sledding then drink hot chocolate with whipped cream when there's no snow lol.

The tree has been up in my house for about a week now

We bought beautiful glass lanterns from Canadian tire when our oldest (8) was about three. Each has a pillar candle and they are our lanterns of Christmas Spirit, we light them on Christmas Eve and put them on our porch. We taught our kids that our Christmas spirit lanterns remind Santa we still believe and that’s how he knows to find our house (as we live on an acreage)

They have become a pretty important part of our Christmas Eve!

Christmas Eve boxes. One Christmas Eve they each get a wrapped gift. Only one from us. It always has the same thing in it. Holiday pj’s, bag of popcorn, packet of hot cocoa, and a movie. We then get baths put on our pjs watch the movie while we eat popcorn then go to bed.

I like the idea of a Christmas Eve box! That's a super cute idea and something special to do together 😍
